HAC, a 45-year-old 501(c)(3) nonprofit, offers a continuum of housing programs from homeless outreach to affordable housing development. Helping 5,300 clients annually on the Cape & Islands, HAC’s programs include first-time homebuyer education, foreclosure prevention counseling, weatherization rehab, and homeless prevention. HAC also administers the largest housing subsidy program in our region; and runs a family self-sufficiency program. HAC runs four family shelters, including the Carriage House shelter in North Falmouth.
